CTXANTM XANTHAN GUM is a high-molecular-weight xanthan gum biopolymer used to impart viscosity and suspension characteristics. It contains a dispersing agent to improve mixing rates and avoid “fisheyes”. CTXANTM XANTHAN GUM meets the API specification for viscosity. CTXANTM XANTHAN GUM is a very effective viscosifier in most fluid systems regardless of salinity or hardness. It provides a highly shear-thinning, non-Newtonian fluid, which is ideal for hole cleaning and cuttings suspension without compromise of bit hydraulics. CTXANTM XANTHAN GUM is compatible with all types of water-based drilling fluids as well as sodium, potassium, and calcium chloride brines.

CT-PACTM LV is a low-viscosity-grade polyanionic cellulosic polymer. It controls filtration of water-based muds without severe increases in the mud viscosity, and resistant to microorganisms. CT-PACTM LV controls the filtration rate of freshwater muds.

CT-STARCHTM is a high-grade, pregelatinized starch used to control filtration properties of water-based muds. CT-STARCHTM  hydrates and swells to provide filtration control in all water-based muds, and will tolerate salt up to saturation. CT-STARCHTM is used primarily to lower filtration values in brackish and saturated saltwater muds.

Primary Emulsifier multi-purpose emulsifier is a liquid blend of selected emulsifiers, wetting agents, gelling agents and fluid stabilizers in oil base. It is used as the basic emulsifier for the oil mud systems. Emulsifier provides excellent emulsion stability, secondary wetting, viscosity, filtration control and temperature stability.

Passive Emulsifier organic surfactant is a multi-functional additive which serves as secondary emulsifier and wetting agent in the oil mud systems.

It is powerful oil wetting agent used to oil wet drill solids in oil-based drilling fluids. Reduced flow properties are commonly seen after small applications of this product.

CT-OFCTM ORGANOPHILIC CLAY viscosifier is an organophillic clay used to impart viscosity and suspension properties to oil-based drilling fluids. CT-OFCTM viscosifier is also used to gel oil drilling fluids for long-term suspension of weighting agents in drilling and packer fluids. CT-OFCTM viscosifier is usually preferred in mineral oil-based fluids. CT-OFCTM viscosifier is stable to 350°F (176°C). CT-OFCTM viscosifier should not be used in high performance clay-free oil-based drilling fluids.
